Requirements

Candidates should have 10+ years of professional experience in data science/analytics with demonstrated proficiency in Python, SQL, and statistical modeling. A minimum of 3 years of experience leading experimentation programs or product analytics teams is required, along with deep expertise in experimental design, A/B testing, and causal inference methods. Strong experience with sequential analysis and a keen sense of how to connect experimentation outcomes to product strategy and user engagement metrics are also essential.

Responsibilities

The Lead Data Scientist will set the roadmap and model best practices for product experimentation and A/B testing, and lead the evolution of the experimentation platform. They will partner with product leadership to identify high-impact experimentation opportunities, establish methodological standards for causal inference and statistical testing, and build frameworks for measuring product feature impact. Responsibilities also include coaching and mentoring data scientists, collaborating with engineering teams on data instrumentation, leading complex analytical projects, developing self-service experimentation tools, and championing a data-driven product development culture.
