Requirements

3-5 years of work experience in data engineering
Experience with Azure technologies (Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Fabric)
Understanding of Agile engineering practices
Deep familiarity with data warehouse and lakehouse methodologies, including medallion architecture
Experience with Data ETL/ELT processes
Experience with Data profiling and anomaly detection
Data modeling (Dimensional/Kimball)
SQL proficiency
Strong background in relational database platforms
DevOps/Continuous integration & continuous delivery
Growing familiarity with Python
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective oral and written communication and organizational skills
Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

Responsibilities

Analyze, develop, and deliver business intelligence solutions using the Microsoft Analytics stack
Work directly with clients to ensure their expectations and business decision-making tool needs are met
Build and maintain databases, data pipelines, and data lakes
Transform and model data, develop reporting and analytics, and create dashboards
Understand business problems and processes based on direct conversations with clients and translate them into specific solutions
Work with other technical experts on the DADP team and be involved in all parts of the data analytics development process—from gathering requirements and solution delivery to documentation of lessons learned
Present a positive, professional, and self-confident image
Respond to clients in a timely and professional manner
Collaborate with clients to identify and address their business needs
Communicate accurately, concisely, and effectively
Work collaboratively to solve problems and put team success first
Meet commitments to others and deliver on time
Balance multiple projects while focusing on the needs of end users, clients, and the project manager
Provide top-notch service and suggestions to clients and the project team
