Requirements

5+ years of experience in data analysis, data operations or data management
Experience in insurance or reinsurance industry is a strong plus
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field
Fluent in English (verbal and written); knowledge of another language is a plus
Experience in leading or managing a team
A strong understanding of data structures and data processing workflows (coding expertise is not required)
Experience working with data management tools and ETL processes (e.g. SQL, Power BI, Excel)
Proven ability to analyse, interpret, and validate large data sets from multiple sources

Responsibilities

Overseeing data operations processes, including task allocation and monitoring workloads to ensure that deadlines are met
Develop and maintaining comprehensive documentation for data procedures and best practices
Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders regarding data operational issues, escalating technical matters as necessary
Developing, monitoring and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) related to data quality and team productivity
Fostering a high-performance culture centred on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Building and maintaining good relationship with various stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of the team’s deliverables and promoting effective working relationship
Supporting stakeholders with data related queries or issues
Participating in projects or other ad hoc duties as assigned
