Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a customer success manager, preferably in energy or commodity markets, managing a portfolio of financial clients
  • Comfortable with data and understand its relevance
  • Ideally, experience with programming languages like Python or R
  • Client-focused, capable of adapting to customers’ needs, and strong communication skills
  • Driven and self-disciplined, able to work autonomously without much guidance and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Critical thinker with attention to detail and a problem solver capable of constantly producing and curating support content
  • Team player, quick learner, able to work with short deadlines across different tasks
  • Methodical, analytical, and good at prioritizing, dealing with multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously
  • Enjoys finding solutions, improving processes, and good at knowledge transfer
  • Genuinely cares about clients, takes ownership of projects, and keeps an eye on long-term goals

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a meaningful level of engagement with clients and be the key point of contact for inquiries
  • Coach users to be experts on the terminal, Excel add-in, API, and data integration
  • Help commercial teams uncover upsell/cross-sell opportunities based on clients’ needs
  • Proactively align client’s goals with Kpler’s
  • Continuously improve the Kpler Customer Success process (knowledge base articles, internal tools, support FAQs, etc.)
  • Ensure appropriate client contacts, documentation, reviews, and projects are added to Salesforce and kept up-to-date
  • Communicate with clients daily via email, phone, video calls, or face-to-face on topics like product usage, new features, support, etc., considering their individual needs
  • Liaise with different teams at Kpler (e.g., Sales, Product, Engineering) to enable clients to use the solution to its maximum potential
