Experience of working within the banking sector, such as banking operations, with a solid understanding of the sector’s complexities and challenges
Keen interest in trends within banking, both locally and internationally
Skilled in business and data analysis, capable of diagnosing current operations effectively (certification in business analysis methodologies like ECBA, CCBA, or CBAP desirable but not mandatory)
Experience in lean process improvement and re-engineering for operational excellence (knowledge of tools such as Visio, Miro, and Blueworks preferred but not essential)
Familiar with technologies like RPA, workflow optimisation, MI reporting, power platform
Responsibilities
Work closely with business leaders and executive officers in the banking industry to understand their needs and support them in addressing their most complex challenges (e.g., launching new digital platforms, responding to regulatory change, or driving lasting operational improvements)
Support end-to-end projects within banking, from requirements gathering and solution design to development, testing, deployment, and post go-live support
Lead workstreams and manage interactions with senior stakeholders to ensure their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle
Develop end-to-end process maps that accurately capture the current operational state, including business activities, systems, data points, and challenges; utilize these maps to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
Conduct detailed analysis and diagnostics of existing operations to uncover actionable insights and identify opportunities for transformation and enhancement, leveraging data-driven methodologies
Design tactical and strategic solution options, such as process reengineering, digitisation, and automation, tailored to meet client objectives and enhance operational effectiveness
Work closely with clients to understand and document clear business requirements, ensuring alignment between client needs and project deliverables
