Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience in cloud network engineering, with a strong focus on AWS and Azure. Experience with resilient network architectures, VPCs, routing, network security services, load balancing, DNS, and Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) is essential. Familiarity with cell-based architectures and multi-tenanted deployments is also desired.
Responsibilities
The Senior Cloud Network Engineer II will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing dbt Labs’ cloud network infrastructure, including troubleshooting and monitoring network issues, designing network architecture to streamline and improve existing systems and plan for future expansion, reviewing network needs of developer teams, configuring and managing VPCs, routing, network security services, load balancing, DNS, and PrivateLink offerings, reducing toil through automation, and coming up with novel solutions to securely connect client data warehouses to dbt Cloud.
