Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • 5 Years of experience in software development with Python, NodeJS, or Java with a focus on SDLC and automation
  • Preferred: 2-5 years of experience in Cloud development (AWS) and migration skills
  • Preferred: Experience with building and operating highly resilient platforms in AWS cloud environments
  • Preferred: Hands on experience working with containers (Kubernetes) and serverless applications (Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, S3)
  • Preferred: Understanding of SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) principles with supporting skills and experience in creating scalable and reliable software systems
  • Preferred: Working experience with Infrastructure as Code -- Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation Templates
  • Preferred: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins Core
  • Preferred: Scripting ability in PowerShell or Bash Shell Unix Scripting

Responsibilities

  • Work with application team to support their application deployment
  • Develop common pipeline utilities to be used by other teams
  • Manage AWS cloud accounts and perform routine maintenance
  • Create code templates and document standard procedures
  • Monitor infrastructure components for cost and performance
  • Provide on-call support on a scheduled rotation
