Requirements
The Senior Cloud Architect should possess extensive experience in Cloud Architecture and Engineering, with expertise in driving the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure. They require strong leadership skills, the ability to provide technical support to junior team members, and a deep understanding of cloud environments, service-oriented architecture principles, and multi-cloud solutions. Candidates must be able to develop a comprehensive cloud strategy, administer its adaptation, and implement technology solutions aligning with overall technology standards. Furthermore, they need to establish multi-cloud service support processes, manage cloud projects end-to-end, and work effectively with stakeholders and senior leadership.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will act as a Cloud Architecture Subject Matter Expert, providing direction and support on cloud architecture and roadmap. You will lead and provide technical support to junior team members, manage key cloud projects, leverage cloud principles to design solutions, identify optimal cloud architecture solutions, and work with clients and R&D to integrate solutions with existing infrastructure. Responsibilities include creating a cloud strategy, administering its adaptation, establishing multi-cloud support processes, implementing technology solutions, and optimizing cloud presence for performance, security, and cost. You will also be responsible for evaluating technical risks, developing mitigation strategies, ensuring cloud security and compliance, participating in audits, and developing automation practices. Finally, you will present technical information to various audiences and participate in disaster recovery drills.
