We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Senior Cloud Architect to join our dynamic Clario Cloud Services team. In this pivotal role, you will provide expert Cloud Architecture and Engineering support, driving the design, implementation, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure. Your contributions will be critical in enhancing the scalability, reliability, and security of our cloud services, ensuring we deliver top-tier solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Act as Cloud Architecture SME and provide direction & support on Cloud Architecture, roadmap, and Operations.
  • Lead and provide technical support to junior members in the Cloud services team.
  • Manage key Cloud projects end-to-end and provide technical directions to project managers, Cloud engineers, and other project team members.
  • Leverage Cloud environment and service-oriented architecture principles to define and own Solution Architecture (applications, infrastructure, security, and data technologies).
  • Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the organization.
  • Work with clients/R&D to design a full-stack solution using software that fully integrates with customer’s existing cloud infrastructure from data flow, security, DevOps, and other standpoints.
  • Responsible for the creation of a well-informed cloud strategy and administer the adaption process.
  • Establish multi-cloud service support process and practice, including review and analysis of current cloud operational support processes and mapping to a future state for cloud systems support operating model; implement cloud systems support process and procedures in a multi-cloud environment.
  • Implement or guide implementation of technology solutions for the operation ensuring consistency with overall technology standards, strategy, and operational requirements.
  • Work effectively with stakeholders and senior leadership to manage to acceptable outcomes in line with IT cloud SOP process and procedures; record new SOP support procedures and collaborate with various teams including IT, Security, R&D, Enterprise architecture team for support, alignment, and adoption in both onshore and offshore support models.
  • Develop, identify, and document operational processes and procedures; assist with runbook implementations where there are gaps.
  • Develop Cloud Architecture standards, guidelines, design patterns, and lead new technology evaluation and deployment processes.
  • Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques including bulk application transfers into the cloud.
  • Propose suggestions and best practices to optimize customers’ cloud presence, performance, security, and cost.
  • Responsible for the evaluation of technical risks and map out mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and organize cloud systems and work closely with IT security to monitor the company’s cloud privacy and compliance.
  • Work on Cloud roadmap including Cloud migration & transformation and lead the migration efforts.
  • Participate in Data Center exit projects and create on-prem vs Cloud cost comparisons.
  • Lead disaster recovery drills for Cloud hosted applications.
  • Enable Cloud Security, work closely with Information Security group to enhance Cloud security and implement required Cloud security tools and guardrails.
  • Participate in Audit exercises (ISO27001, SOX, HIPAA) and enable controls per business requirements.
  • Develop Automation and Infrastructure as a Code Practice for Cloud Deployments.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Strategy, Business case development & Management level engagements.
  • Presenting to a variety of audiences through the use of various mediums such as whiteboarding, phone/video conference, stage, etc.
