Requirements

Field-based position supporting Abbott’s Vascular division, with focus on Miami, FL territory and broader Region as needed
Expertise as technical procedure and product expert, particularly in Vessel Closure portfolio (small and large bore arterial, venous, and future products)
Ability to focus on Electrophysiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, and hospital staff
Skills in case planning, case support coverage, and product pull-through
Capability to meet with existing and potential customers (e.g., physicians, hospital personnel) to identify needs and demonstrate products
Experience developing relationships, making new contacts, and identifying key decision makers in hospitals
Proficiency in providing clinical support, troubleshooting, and in-service education
Knowledge to educate customers via presentations and demonstrations on product usage, therapy, and industry developments
Ability to attend clinical procedures in Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology Lab, and Operating Room
Competence in responding to customer needs/complaints and collaborating with sales, clinical research, marketing, and product development teams

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical procedure and product expert for case coverage in hospital settings
Promote Vascular products through education, service, and training of customers to achieve sales goals, increase revenues, and grow market share, with heavy focus on Vessel Closure
Meet with customers to identify clinical needs, goals, constraints, and demonstrate how products meet them
Develop relationships with hospital personnel, make new contacts, and identify key decision makers
Act as primary resource for clinical support, troubleshooting, and in-service education
Educate customers on product merits and usage via presentations, demonstrations, and various formats
Attend clinical procedures to ensure customer and patient success with products
Respond to customer needs and complaints by developing solutions or collaborating with other teams
Support the broader Region as needed
