  • Field-based position supporting Abbott’s Vascular division in Sacramento, CA
  • Expertise as technical procedure and product expert in hospital settings (e.g., Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology Lab, Operating Room)
  • Focus on Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Cardiologists, and Interventional Radiologists for Endovascular portfolio (atherectomy, thrombectomy, base peripheral, vessel closure, future products)
  • Ability to meet with existing and potential customers (e.g., physicians, physician office groups at hospitals) to identify needs and demonstrate products
  • Capability to develop relationships with hospital personnel and identify key decision-makers
  • Skills in providing clinical support, troubleshooting, and in-service education
  • Proficiency in educating customers via presentations and demonstrations using various formats (e.g., slides, transparencies, manuals)
  • Experience attending clinical procedures to ensure customer and patient success
  • Ability to respond to customer needs/complaints with creative solutions or collaboration (e.g., sales, clinical research, marketing, product development)
  • Reports to Regional Sales Director; supports case planning, coverage, product pull-through in territory/region

Responsibilities

  • Serve as technical procedure and product expert for case coverage in hospital settings
  • Promote Vascular products through education, service, and training of customers
  • Provide clinical education and sales support to achieve sales goals, increase revenues, and market share
  • Meet with customers to identify clinical needs/goals/constraints and demonstrate product benefits
  • Develop relationships with hospital personnel; make new contacts; identify key decision-makers
  • Act as primary resource for clinical support, troubleshooting, and in-service education
  • Educate customers on product merits, usage, latest developments via presentations/demonstrations
  • Attend clinical procedures to ensure success with Vascular products
  • Respond to customer needs/complaints by developing solutions or collaborating with teams
  • Support case planning, coverage, and product pull-through in designated territory and region as needed
