Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a PharmD degree, possess an active pharmacist license in the state(s) where they are required to practice, demonstrate strong organizational skills, proven problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), and a passion for improving consumer experiences are also required.

Responsibilities

The Senior RX Clinical Programs Pharmacist will oversee medication therapy, develop strategy for comprehensive medication reviews, and optimize prescriptions for patients taking multiple medications. They will drive health awareness through Rx Education and targeted campaigns, place outbound calls to confirm medication adherence and provide counseling, begin to influence department strategy, make decisions on complex issues regarding technical approaches, and exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Additionally, the pharmacist will integrate programs to improve health outcomes, conduct audits, and advise management on HR-related risk mitigation strategies.
