Requirements

  • Fluent in both Japanese and English (able to read, write, and speak at native or business level proficiency) to provide direct support to Japanese-speaking clients
  • Keen interest in or basic understanding of financial markets, OTC post-trade framework, and knowledge of financial products (FX, Equity, FI, Credit, or Futures)
  • Strong technical skills, investigative techniques, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Open-minded, flexible, and willing to adapt to changing situations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with client orientation

Responsibilities

  • Assist with everyday client queries pertaining to access management, system workflow, technical errors, customization requirements, etc
  • Apply technical skills, business knowledge, investigative techniques, and problem-solving to identify and resolve issues timely and with high quality
  • Direct interaction with OSTTRA clients globally to resolve technical and non-technical queries, partnering with global teams
  • Monitor client queries, investigate and troubleshoot errors, and work with internal groups for resolution
  • Respond to client requests with detailed analysis, evaluation, and feedback
  • Work closely with internal teams for system enhancements and escalations
  • Participate in internal/external training; educate clients on upcoming product enhancements/changes
  • Onboard new participants timely and effectively implement the product; assist in testing trade flows and troubleshooting client issues
  • Configure the product per client requirements for trade confirmation
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting in UAT and pre-prod environments, emulating setups in production
  • Develop and maintain productive client relationships
  • Coordinate across internal global teams for positive client experience outcomes
  • Participate in testing of system enhancements
  • Identify and track system issues, partnering with technology teams for delivery
