Requirements

  • Broad insurance industry experience, including exposure to a variety of European markets
  • At least 5 years of experience with successfully managing large/complex/strategic clients
  • Active and excellent knowledge of English and at least one other language (extra language skills may be beneficial)
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills and the ability to see the bigger picture, always with an eye on profitability targets
  • Ability to influence internally in alignment with external relationships
  • Negotiation skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of large clients and create excellent long-term client relationships using technical knowledge, commercial skills, and a proactive, creative, service-oriented approach
  • Act as the expert and preferred point of contact for developing and maintaining clients' International Mobility Benefits strategy
  • Drive new business acquisition and complete tenders for selected accounts, cooperating closely with local A&H teams
  • Build unique relationships of trust with clients by knowing their needs, following up on contract performance, listening, detecting opportunities, developing creative solutions, managing complaints, and maintaining regular contact
  • Ensure KPIs and SLAs are delivered by TPA and Assistance partners, protect client interests by following up on complaints and corrective actions
  • Help local A&H teams win large new business opportunities by providing expertise, market knowledge, assisting with tender completions, and finalist presentations
  • Create financial and content analyses for portfolio contracts, monitor key indicators, detect trends, and formulate conclusions and actions to optimize performance
  • Independently develop account management for allocated clients and projects, assess operational/financial impacts of decisions, identify problems and improvement opportunities, and suggest enhancements for quality and profitability
  • Work with local A&H teams to ensure flawless execution of operational processes related to premiums and claims bookings
  • Ensure clients achieve targeted profitability, interfacing with Legal, Risk, and Compliance for robust client management governance
  • Keep professional knowledge up to speed on client/partner evolutions, product/service possibilities and limitations, international social security systems, health insurance regulations, and general international political/socio-economic affairs
