Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in personal loan, credit card or financial product customer acquisition, client management, management consulting, digital marketing or investment banking
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field from an accredited college or university
  • MBA, Masters degree or equivalent highly desired but not required
  • Executive-level gravitas and influencing skills with the demonstrated ability to communicate complex business cases to C-suite audiences, defend positions, and drive alignment across competing internal and external stakeholder priorities
  • A proven history of successfully driving and closing complex, multi-year strategic partnership agreements that have delivered material revenue or user growth (validated by at least 2+ years of experience in a senior client-facing/BD role)
  • Adept at collecting, analyzing and synthesizing data to support strategies and communications internally and externally
  • High-velocity decision-maker and relentless executor who operates with extreme ownership and minimal oversight, transforming strategic ambiguity into clear, actionable, and successful execution plans
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented -- able to successfully manage complex projects
  • Applies a deep understanding of the FinTech landscape to proactively identify, structure, and secure innovative partnership opportunities before they become obvious

Responsibilities

  • Lead all commercial and strategic negotiations with senior executives at key partners, serving as the trusted primary point of contact
  • Exercise sharp business judgment to balance partner requests with Credit Karma's long-term strategic goals, ensuring optimal resource allocation and material business outcomes
  • Design and champion data-driven strategic initiatives using complex analytics to unlock new revenue streams and partner ROI
  • Own the end-to-end execution roadmap for strategic partner initiatives, translating a deep understanding of partners' needs into successful, high-quality delivery via collaboration with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Marketing
  • Serve as the primary P&L owner for a portfolio of Credit Karma’s most critical strategic PL partnerships
  • Leverage expertise to identify, negotiate, and execute complex data and technology integrations that drive material revenue growth and deliver a best-in-class experience for our 140+ million members
  • Play a key role in shaping the overall PL vertical strategy
