The Senior Brand Manager is responsible for defining and executing Minted's brand and integrated marketing each season. They shape brand marketing decisions, develop integrated marketing plans, define content strategies, and articulate core positioning to inspire exceptional and effective creative work. This person is consumer-obsessed, has a pulse on cultural trends, and understands how to drive reach and relevancy with Minted’s core demo. They are equal parts strategic, creative, and operational – understanding how to champion complex programs with cross-functional team members. Above all, they are inspired by the potential of making design more widely accessible.

Requirements

  • Experience: 8+ years of marketing and/or brand strategy experience in a consumer, retail company, e-commerce brand and/or creative agency.
  • Consumer Understanding: Deep consumer insights and an understanding of how and why consumers use Minted products.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and analytical skills; ability to analyze data, articulate recommendations, and take action accordingly.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Outstanding follow-up, organization, and time management skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while still paying attention to details and executing flawlessly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Seasonal Brand Strategy: Develop the seasonal brand strategy to meet Minted’s brand, consumer, and company goals.
  • Marketing Calendar: Build the seasonal marketing calendar with brand managers and category management, including product launches, cultural moments, promo events, etc.
  • Partnership & Cross-Category Initiatives: Lead all partnership & cross-category initiatives, including strategy, briefing, program management, execution, and hindsight. This includes brands, wholesale partners, and talent.
  • Content Strategy: Lead all content strategy plans, including campaigns, content creators, and licensed content.
  • External Partner Management: Manage relationships with external partners, including agency/partner selection, contract and pricing negotiation, and performance management.
  • Channel Strategy: Partner with the marketing team to bring seasonal strategy to life across paid, owned, and earned channels. Develop strategies for key awareness-building channels, including TV, digital/print advertising, activations, events, and partnerships.
  • Product Support: Collaborate with category teams to create and execute marketing strategies that support product launches and lifecycle management.
  • Positioning & Messaging: Develop positioning and messaging that highlights product value, features, and benefits tailored to target customer segments.
  • Creative Briefs: Develop inspiring creative briefs based on a deep understanding of Minted’s business, the competitive landscape, the cultural environment, and the target consumer.
