Responsibilities

The Senior Backend Engineer will focus on the non-functional requirements of backend applications, including service availability, scalability, and reliability. They will oversee system design and architecture, develop and optimize real-time data processing applications using Kafka and Flink, and profile and optimize application performance. The role involves focusing on the application side, collaborating with data scientists to deploy and integrate models in production, and handling data processing, sanitization, validation, and data QA.
