Job Summary: PointClickCare is seeking a Senior Application Engineer with extensive Salesforce Development and Administration experience. This role also requires troubleshooting Git and DevOps related issues. The ideal candidate is a stellar team player with a continuous learning mindset, comfortable working autonomously and coaching team members. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Application Operations Engineering, you will bring over 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining configuration and custom applications that integrate with core applications like Salesforce or NetSuite.

Requirements

  • Experience: Over 5 years of experience in Salesforce Development and Administration.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Deep understanding of Salesforce Development and Administration.
    • Proficiency in versioning systems like GitHub.
    • Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps pipelines and tools (e.g., Copado).
    • Experience with debugging standard to complex issues.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Stellar accountable team player
    • Continuous learning mindset
    • Autonomous and comfortable coaching others
    • Ability to debug complex issues
    • Experience in developing technical documentation
    • Experience managing DevOps pipelines
    • Ability to onboard and train team members

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce configuration and custom applications.
  • Integrate applications with core systems like Salesforce or NetSuite.
  • Troubleshoot Git and DevOps related issues.

  • Onboard and train team members.
  • Peer review builds developed by other team members.
