Candidates should possess at least 5 years of experience supporting and leading SaaS applications within organizations with over 1,000 users, demonstrating deep expertise in Google Workspace administration (GAM experience is a plus), Slack, and other collaboration and productivity platforms. They should also have a proven ability to assemble, document, and translate technical requirements for new application onboarding, integrations, and automation initiatives, along with familiarity with API-based integration concepts and platforms, and experience or familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation use cases.
The Senior Application Engineer will partner with business and technical teams to define and document requirements for application integrations and workflow automation, translate complex business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications, support, maintain, and optimize key enterprise platforms including Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, Confluence, and Zoom, assist in the evaluation, deployment, and configuration of SaaS tools, coordinate with development and operations teams to ensure integrations and tools are built, tested, and deployed effectively, monitor application health and user feedback to identify and drive improvements, contribute to internal knowledge bases and documentation, stay ahead of industry trends and new technologies, and work independently in a remote-friendly environment while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
