Requirements

Candidates should have proven experience in analytics engineering or data engineering roles, with a track record of building impactful data solutions. Strong SQL skills with experience in modern data warehouse environments, preferably Snowflake, are required. Expertise with DBT or similar data transformation frameworks, proficiency in Python and version control workflows (Git), and experience working with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions are also necessary. Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to drive projects forward with minimal oversight is expected, along with curiosity about and ideally experience with using AI tools to develop high-quality work products. Experience with transactional, financial, and operational datasets is beneficial.

Responsibilities

The Senior Analytics Engineer will work with real-time payments data at massive scale and help shape the future of the data platform. They will design and implement data models that enable critical business functions, build and maintain data products for automated reporting, customer-facing analytics, and operational workflows, and collaborate with the Risk team to develop monitoring systems and analytical frameworks for risk assessment. Additionally, they will support the Operations team with data infrastructure to streamline business processes, establish and promote best practices for data governance, quality, and documentation, and mentor other team members while contributing to the evolution of analytics engineering practices.
