Analytics Engineer

The Senior Analytics Engineer will help scale our data models and reporting analytics platforms. They have a deep understanding of data analytics concepts and experience working with cross-functional stakeholders. As a Senior Analytics Engineer, they are responsible for ensuring high-quality, accurate data modeling (we use dbt) working to help others on the data team transform raw data into clean, modeled data that is ready for analysis by end users. Additionally, they are expected to be a thought partner and gain trust of senior stakeholders by creating accurate reporting solutions that answer key business questions. This role reports to the Engineering Manager, Data.
The Paperless Post data team plays a crucial role in our product’s success. We get to dive into advanced data work—from marketing attribution models, growth analytics tactics, and product feature AB testing, to modern data engineering infrastructure and integrations—that solves complex business problems and increases the data functional capabilities of everyone throughout the company. On the reporting side, we help ensure that all teams have the information they need to make informed decisions.
Cloud-based quoting software for manufacturers
Paperless Parts provides quoting software designed specifically for manufacturers, catering to a wide range of clients from small job shops to large production facilities. The main product is a cloud-based platform that simplifies and speeds up the quoting process, enhancing accuracy. Key features of the platform include advanced analytics, collaboration tools, and a part viewer, which collectively help manufacturers optimize their operations and increase their success rates in winning quotes. Unlike many competitors, Paperless Parts operates on a subscription-based model, allowing clients to access the software for a recurring fee. The company's goal is to make manufacturing more efficient and accessible, ultimately aiming to transform the industry.
