Requirements
Candidates must have a deep understanding of credit card collections processes, including delinquency stages, recovery strategies, and charge-off management. Knowledge of payment processing systems, reconciliation workflows, cure rates, roll rates, and collections performance metrics is required. Familiarity with regulatory requirements for collections activities and customer communications is also necessary. Strong technical skills in manipulating large data sets with SQL and Python, expertise in data visualization and performance monitoring dashboards, and excellent communication skills are essential. A results-driven and curious mindset is expected, with experience in dbt being a plus.
Responsibilities
The Senior Analytics Developer will be responsible for building and maintaining data models in the data warehouse to track collections performance metrics and serve as the foundation for the collections prioritization model. This includes developing attribution logic for payments and account cures, creating monitoring systems and alerts for collections processes, and designing and implementing data pipelines for third-party collections agencies. The role also involves collaborating with CX teams to incorporate agent performance metrics and supporting the implementation and data integration of third-party software, ensuring all data models are well-tested, documented, and maintained for long-term scalability.
