Requirements

Equivalent experience in Engineering (preferably Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering), considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree or equivalent is a plus
MBA or demonstrated financial expertise through proven experience
15+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor operations, with preference for fab environments (e.g., TSMC, UMC)
Knowledge of advanced packaging processes is a major plus
Strong technical foundation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to make data-driven decisions
Strong leadership and team management skills, with record of successfully leading cross-functional teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to collaborate effectively internally and externally

Responsibilities

Lead and manage aspects of silicon business operations, including wafer and advanced packaging supply chain management, capacity, pricing, and contract negotiations, product roadmap influence, and relationship management
Help shape and influence production process decisions to ensure flawless execution and world-class results
Assist with business negotiations, including preparation of RFQs for product tape out awards, pricing, capacity allocations, and other key business drivers
Assist the business team to ensure they are equipped to meet operational goals and respond to challenges with agility
Thrive in problem-solving and react swiftly to issues, maintaining seamless flow of operations in a dynamic environment
Influence upper management by highlighting competitive technologies, ensuring timely decisions that support business objectives
Partner with suppliers to secure expedites, supporting new product ramps and mitigating urgent shortages
Resolve capacity constraints by collaborating with suppliers, internal planning, and engineering teams, ensuring smooth operations and minimal disruptions
Work closely with BU, Engineering, and Ops teams on advanced packaging roadmaps and production ramps, aligning efforts to mitigate risks and ensure successful product launches
Manage foundry partner relationships and serve as key individual to initiate/handle escalations
