Requirements

  • Equivalent experience in Engineering (preferably Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering), considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree or equivalent is a plus
  • MBA or demonstrated financial expertise through proven experience
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor operations, with preference for fab environments (e.g., TSMC, UMC)
  • Knowledge of advanced packaging processes is a major plus
  • Strong technical foundation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with record of successfully leading cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to collaborate effectively internally and externally

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage aspects of silicon business operations, including wafer and advanced packaging supply chain management, capacity, pricing, and contract negotiations, product roadmap influence, and relationship management
  • Help shape and influence production process decisions to ensure flawless execution and world-class results
  • Assist with business negotiations, including preparation of RFQs for product tape out awards, pricing, capacity allocations, and other key business drivers
  • Assist the business team to ensure they are equipped to meet operational goals and respond to challenges with agility
  • Thrive in problem-solving and react swiftly to issues, maintaining seamless flow of operations in a dynamic environment
  • Influence upper management by highlighting competitive technologies, ensuring timely decisions that support business objectives
  • Partner with suppliers to secure expedites, supporting new product ramps and mitigating urgent shortages
  • Resolve capacity constraints by collaborating with suppliers, internal planning, and engineering teams, ensuring smooth operations and minimal disruptions
  • Work closely with BU, Engineering, and Ops teams on advanced packaging roadmaps and production ramps, aligning efforts to mitigate risks and ensure successful product launches
  • Manage foundry partner relationships and serve as key individual to initiate/handle escalations
