Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills to analyze, optimize, build, report, and assign strategies driving sales through category floor plans and planograms
  • Ability to build and maintain accurate planogram and category floor plan databases, including item dimensions, fixture types, item locations, and capacities
  • Proficiency in data analysis to translate insights into actionable strategies and provide analytical insights via reports and dashboards
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with stakeholders, merchandise senior directors, category managers, stores, core space planners, and third-party vendors
  • Knowledge of space excellence tools, methods, standards, measures, and expectations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, quality control, document management, change requests, and timely corrections to comply with standards
  • Awareness of market, category, brand, and consumer trends
  • Process improvement mindset to identify and implement enhancements to efficiency, quality, and cross-functional ways of working

Responsibilities

  • Support Modular Relay Schedules, Format Development, or project-related planograms and category floor plan refreshes
  • Identify space optimization opportunities to ensure optimal assortment and space configuration for profitable sales and efficient operations
  • Support project meetings by sharing process timelines, space excellence metrics, and addressing risks or obstacles in planogram and floor plan creation/modification
  • Maintain accurate planogram and category floor plan database
  • Provide insights, standards, measures, and expectations throughout the end-to-end process for successful execution
  • Perform timely corrections of floor plan and planogram drawings to comply with standards
  • Manage quality control services, document management, and change requests
  • Communicate and produce outputs reflecting strong business acumen
  • Collaborate with stores to resolve inquiries professionally and efficiently
  • Support strategic initiatives by analyzing and modifying category and modular space, liaising with core space planners or third-party vendors
  • Stay informed on market, category, brand, and consumer trends to provide insights during processes
  • Identify and implement process improvements for space excellence efficiency, quality, and cross-functional ways of working
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and analytical insights to improve results
  • Share expert knowledge on space excellence tools and methods with planners and business partners
