Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field, with up to 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable. Proficiency in Workday or another large-scale ERP system is required, along with strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite. The role demands the ability to analyze issues, recommend solutions, communicate clearly, identify and prioritize problems, and work independently while being a strong team player. Candidates should also have good attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, a proactive and problem-solving attitude, adaptability to change, and the highest moral standards for handling confidential information. Experience with global teams and foreign exchange concepts is a plus.
The Senior Analyst - Accounts Payable will process purchase order (PO) and non-PO invoices, ensuring accurate matching and coding, and assist with processing global invoices. Responsibilities include identifying and analyzing aged invoices, resolving escalated accounting inquiries, performing regular account reconciliations for high-volume and disputed vendors, and managing trackers for critical suppliers. The role involves assisting with urgent requests, partnering with internal teams to clear AP reconciling items, providing support to team members, and participating in cross-functional projects. Additionally, the analyst must adhere to reporting deadlines, raise and resolve issues promptly, assist with ad-hoc schedules and reports, support month-end close activities, and provide necessary support for external, internal, and SOX audits. Preparing regulatory compliance reports for accounts payable, creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and communicating effectively to foster partnerships are also key duties. The role also includes performing ad-hoc projects and tasks as requested, updating vendor banking records, and ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and US GAAP.
