Requirements
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in an Accounts Payable role. Proficiency with financial systems such as NetSuite and Ramp is required, along with strong command of Google Workspace tools including Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Meet. Excellent analytical, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities are essential, as are exceptional written and verbal communication skills. The ability to operate both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment is also necessary. Preference is given to candidates based in GMT+0 to GMT+3 time zones.
Responsibilities
The Accounts Payable Specialist will manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments and maintaining vendor records. Responsibilities include coding, approving, and documenting invoices, scheduling and preparing payments according to vendor terms, and reconciling the AP aging report. This role involves assisting with audit requests, supporting month-end close activities by reconciling AP and corporate credit card accounts, and serving as the primary point of contact for AP inquiries. The specialist will also collaborate with auditors and external partners, and foster positive vendor relationships through professional communication.
