Requirements
Candidates should possess a Chartered Accountant / CPA or post-graduation specialization in accounting, with 2 to 5 years of overall accounting/finance operations experience. Experience working in a reputable audit firm or information technology company is desirable. Hands-on experience with Workday ERP is preferred, and a clear understanding of general accounting principles is required.
Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant will record payroll journals for the US/APAC/EMEA regions, record payroll accruals, account for inter-company transactions, prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, track open items, provide commentary on account balances, participate in global standardization efforts, support external and internal audits, work with cross-functional teams to identify process gaps and propose solutions, create process documentation (SOPs), adhere to monthly close calendar deadlines, and proactively identify process automation and improvement opportunities.
