Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, a thorough understanding of US GAAP, and a minimum of 5 years of related work experience. Experience with NetSuite or another large ERP system, multi-currency and multi-entity books, and advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills are required. The ability to multitask, stay organized, prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment, promote teamwork, and a self-motivated, detail-oriented, positive attitude are also essential. Public accounting firm experience or CPA is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Accountant will prepare journal entries for month-end close activities, including prepaids, fixed assets, intangibles, accruals, and intercompany transactions. They will perform account reconciliations, conduct flux analysis, and partner with external tax firms. The role involves assisting with financial reporting, tax, and audit processes, documenting internal processes and controls, and identifying areas for improvement. Additionally, the Sr. Accountant will collaborate with other departments, support accounting integration and other projects, and assist the AP and international teams when needed.
