Candidates must possess 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a growth-stage SaaS or technology company. A CPA (or equivalent) designation and Big 4 experience are required. Proficiency in Excel and experience with data/automation tools like SQL or Python are essential. The ideal candidate has owned and improved structured month-end close processes, thrives in ambiguity, and can build processes from scratch. Strong communication skills to convey financial information clearly to various stakeholders are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Accounting Manager will lead monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role involves owning the preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and financial analyses. Responsibilities include managing revenue accounting matters, partnering with data, engineering, and product teams to automate reporting and streamline processes, and driving automation within the ERP and reporting workflows. The manager will also develop and document accounting policies and internal controls, support external audits and tax compliance, and oversee the accounts payable process. Additionally, the role requires partnering with FP&A to provide budget-to-actual reporting and insights.
