Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 2+ years of accounting experience
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. NetSuite, or similar)
  • Strong Excel skills (Intermediate to Advanced)
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable in a dynamic and fast-moving organization and able to work well cross-functionally
  • Team player who wants to grow within a company

Responsibilities

  • Handling general accounting functions including accruals, prepaid amortization, fixed asset depreciation and amortization, preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Ensuring the timely close of the company’s financial records on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Assisting in year-end financial reporting and audit processes by preparing supporting schedules and audit deliverables
  • Applying accounting principles in accordance with US GAAP to prepare, analyze, and deliver complete and accurate financial reports
  • Supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust internal controls over financial reporting
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline accounting, reconciliation, and reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy across accounting functions
  • Preparing and filing various state and local tax forms and other regulatory filing requirements
  • Provide ongoing support of internal customer needs, specifically Operations, Sales, FP&A, and Legal teams
  • Participating in developing and refining day-to-day operating practices with a focus on continued process improvement
  • Performing adhoc projects to support finance, accounting, and various cross-functional initiatives
