Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, along with a minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment. Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles and experience with NetAsset accounting software are required. Familiarity with fixed asset accounting and depreciation methods is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will maintain a deep understanding of Flock devices and technology, capture data for the company’s customer platform, follow Flock accounting policies and processes to account for subscriber system assets and fixed assets, evaluate internal and external costs monthly, coordinate within the organization to stay current on asset use, enforce criteria for changes in system asset status, perform the monthly close process within NetAsset, process monthly depreciation, prepare rollforward and reconciliations monthly, work cross functionally with data team and supply chain/operations teams, review monthly totals for Cost of Sales, prepare accruals in partnership with FPA, and recommend improvements to fixed asset accounting.
