Requirements

Candidates should possess 2-3 years of recent and relevant accounting experience, a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, and advanced MS Excel skills. Preferred qualifications include a CPA certification and experience with the Big Four, as well as experience in a technology or high-growth company operating in a SOX environment and NetSuite experience.

Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the monthly accounting close, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, analyzing and explaining fluctuations, and providing meaningful financial reporting. They will also understand relevant accounting principles, analyze current procedures to recommend process improvements, support external audit processes, assist in implementing and maintaining internal controls, and handle special projects and impromptu reporting as needed.
