Requirements

The Accounting Manager should possess 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a mix of private and public company experience, with private accounting experience required and public accounting experience being a strong plus. Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly related to ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 350, and ASC 718 is necessary, along with experience managing or running the close process and proficiency using close management tools such as FloQast. Advanced proficiency in NetSuite and comfort navigating complex financial systems are also required, as is prior experience working with domestic and international tax matters, including coordination with third-party providers. A CPA or progress toward certification is a bonus, and Big 4 public accounting experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

The Accounting Manager will own and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including preparation, review, and coordination with cross-functional teams. They will review and approve complex transactions with sensitivity to technical accounting standards, manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, maintain and improve internal controls, collaborate with external consultants on domestic and international tax filings, serve as a subject matter expert in NetSuite, utilize and manage close processes through tools such as FloQast, partner with stakeholders across the organization to support financial initiatives and reporting accuracy, and contribute to process improvements and help scale accounting operations as the company grows.
