Requirements
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a minimum of three years of relevant accounting experience, demonstrating a track record of accuracy and ownership. Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly Oracle Fusion, is strongly preferred, along with excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong experience in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel.
Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant will support the monthly close process for SG&A-related general ledger accounts by preparing journal entries for accruals, prepaids, and allocations, analyzing period-end activity and explaining financial statement variances, and reconciling SG&A-related general ledger accounts through sub-ledger tie-outs and account reconciliations. They will also ensure compliance with SOX/internal control requirements, participate in process documentation and audits, identify and support automation and process improvement initiatives, and perform ad-hoc analyses and projects as needed.
