Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, along with a minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, and a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). They should have experience with leading accounting software platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics, and the ability to optimize and troubleshoot these systems.
The Senior Accountant will conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including preparing journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations. They will develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting, own various accounting processes such as cash, prepaids, and fixed assets, and assist with ERP system maintenance and AP tech stack improvements. The role also includes supporting the audit process, assisting in the implementation of accounting controls, identifying process improvements, and authoring accounting policies and procedures, as well as mentoring and training other team members.
