Requirements

4+ years of experience in revenue accounting or related field
Strong technical accounting background, particularly in ASC 606 and GAAP
Highly motivated and detail-oriented
Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Ensure accurate revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP and ASC 606
Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve revenue recognition issues and ensure consistency
Review and validate commission calculations for Sales and other eligible teams
Collaborate with Revenue Operations and Payroll to ensure accurate accounting treatment of compensation plans, in compliance with company policies
Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports for management
Analyze revenue trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide actionable insights
Support external audit processes by preparing required documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
Work closely with Sales, Legal, Customer Success, and Operations, Billing to ensure accuracy and alignment in revenue-related activities
Support ad-hoc financial analyses and projects as needed
Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of revenue accounting
Develop, maintain, and document revenue accounting policies and procedures
