Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in revenue accounting or related field
  • Strong technical accounting background, particularly in ASC 606 and GAAP

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP and ASC 606
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve revenue recognition issues and ensure consistency
  • Review and validate commission calculations for Sales and other eligible teams
  • Collaborate with Revenue Operations and Payroll to ensure accurate accounting treatment of compensation plans, in compliance with company policies
  • Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports for management
  • Analyze revenue trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide actionable insights
  • Support external audit processes by preparing required documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
  • Work closely with Sales, Legal, Customer Success, and Operations, Billing to ensure accuracy and alignment in revenue-related activities
  • Support ad-hoc financial analyses and projects as needed
  • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of revenue accounting
  • Develop, maintain, and document revenue accounting policies and procedures
