Requirements

Candidates must possess a life science degree or equivalent, with proficiency in both English and French. A proven track record in bioprocessing or a related field is essential, along with experience using CRM systems like Salesforce.com. The role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a willingness to travel extensively. Desirable qualifications include existing knowledge of upstream and downstream groups within key biopharmaceutical accounts in France and the ability to build strong technical skills for Cell and Gene Therapy, recombinant Proteins, and Monoclonal antibodies.

Responsibilities

The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for developing and growing the Bioproduction market in France, managing the entire Bioproduction portfolio. This includes selling at all levels to technical, manufacturing, and commercial customers, maintaining and growing business within existing key Biopharma accounts, and seeking new relationships. The role involves leading key accounts, collaborating with the Sales Manager to build and implement a Strategic Territory Plan, and working closely with the Technical Sales Specialist team. Responsibilities also include using judgment to bring in appropriate resources, driving sales objectives in a hunter-selling environment, and ensuring accurate support allocation for key evaluations. The individual will provide accurate forecast and lost order reporting, analyze territory sales data, and understand customer manufacturing processes to provide improvement perspectives.
