Requirements

  • Degree qualified in a Physics, Engineering, Computing or Mathematics discipline (minimum 2.2)

Responsibilities

  • Work across the whole product lifecycle of radar seekers, including research and development, concept, design, integration, testing, production, and in-service support
  • Participate in diverse placements such as system simulation and modelling, algorithm development, design and test of electronic and RF circuits, hardware and software integration, signal processing and data analysis, performance analysis, requirements and specifications, electromagnetic simulation, experimental lab testing, image processing and ray tracing, and production support
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on multinational projects, potentially involving travel
  • Apply university knowledge to technical challenges in seeker technology
  • Work primarily on-site with opportunities for home working depending on tasks
  • Work towards Professional Chartership with IOP, IMA, IET, IMechE or RAeS (supported by the company)
