Requirements

7+ years of experience in physical security, preferably in a defense or high-security environment
Strong understanding of physical security principles, access control systems, and surveillance technology
Proven track record of developing and implementing security policies and procedures
Knowledge of relevant federal and state regulations affecting nuclear and defense industry security
Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field
Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as necessary
Must work 100% onsite at El Segundo HQ

Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive physical security strategies and policies
Oversee the management of access control systems and surveillance technology
Develop emergency response and crisis management plans, interfacing with local law enforcement and first responders
Manage budget and resources for security infrastructure and personnel
Lead cybersecurity audits, assessments, and control testing
Review operational requirements and system specification documents to ensure applicable security requirements are addressed and incorporated into security processes
Educate stakeholders on modern and efficient means for protecting material and information
Serve as liaison with regulators, auditors, and government stakeholders
