Requirements
Candidates should possess 1-3 years of relevant work experience, knowledge of local laws, and a basic understanding of landlord and tenant law. They must also be able to speak and understand basic English, and obtain an 8-hour and 16-hour Security License within 90 days of being hired as defined by the NYS Department of Licensing.
Responsibilities
The Security Guard will conduct routine patrols of property grounds and parking areas, making reports of any findings to management via incident reports. They will report safety hazards as Service Orders, including inoperable lighting and unsecured doors, and assist in emergency response while coordinating safety efforts with local authorities and other security providers to maintain order and ensure the community rules and regulations are followed.
