Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Security Engineer
- Flexible to work in an early morning shift (AU time), Monday to Friday, with a hybrid work setup (3 days on-site) at The Mega Tower, Mandaluyong City
- Proficient with endpoint security platforms (e.g., Defender, Proofpoint, Forescout)
- Proficient with security monitoring platforms (e.g., LogRhythm, SNOW integrations)
- Proficient with vulnerability management tools (e.g., Qualys, SNOW integrations) in collaboration with vulnerability analysts
- Proficient with cloud platforms (AWS, Cloud conformity) with Cloud engineers
- Ability to script in languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash
- Understanding and experience in working with vulnerability management
- Familiarity with security monitoring concepts and SIEM processes
- Knowledge of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE)
- Able to communicate complex technical information in a clear and relatable manner
Responsibilities
- Implement and adopt security tools and processes to enhance overall security posture
- Monitor security queues/backlogs and remediate issues as they arise
- Investigate and respond to security incidents and elevated tasks
- Develop processes and integrations related to security engineering platforms and tools
- Stay updated on the latest security news, tools, trends, and share insights with relevant teams
- Participate in security tool evaluations and contribute to the technology roadmap
- Provide technical assistance for remediating findings from security tools and engagements
- Create reports to evaluate security control effectiveness
- Assess, plan, and implement security measures to safeguard systems and data from unauthorized access
- Manage everyday security operations and monitor security events
- Lead incident response efforts
- Maintain IT security processes and engineering platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams
