- 3 years’ experience in infrastructure engineering including the implementation of controls such as Firewalls, IDP/IPS, Data Protection tools and Vulnerability management tools
- Experience engineering according to security and compliance requirements
- Experience in formulating and prioritising security requirements according to IDP’s risk appetite
- Experience working in a global, multicultural organisation
- Awareness and understanding of security threats, hands-on experience detecting and defending from cyber-attacks
- Strong sense of ownership combined with collaborative approach to overcoming challenges and influencing organisational change
- Ability to build strong and positive relationships with technology teams and broader stakeholders at all levels of technical capability
Responsibilities
- Engaged in the broader cyber program of work, supporting with the design, implementation and management of new security solutions to protect IDP networks, systems and data
- Working with global technology teams to uplift existing vulnerability management processes, specifically defining critical patching activities and application of prioritisation matrix to support timely remediation of vulnerabilities based on impact and exploitability
- Ongoing maintenance of EDR toolset, reviewing policies and ensuring that appropriate policies are running on workstations and servers to improve IDP’s cyber posture
- Onboarding data loss prevention toolset, and ongoing maintenance of this tool including policy development
