Responsibilities

  • Manage databases, perform data entry, and capture information for CBP systems
  • Provide security assistance and act as a security liaison/escort for VIPs, foreign nationals, and high-profile dignitaries
  • Facilitate meetings, generate reports, and develop task schedules for SMD/SSB programs
  • Assist with clerical and data entry services for the CBP Badge and Credentialing Program in Washington, DC and Glynco, GA
  • Assist the Homeland Security Presidential Directive-12 (HSPD-12) Program Manager with writer/editor functions, security analysis, policy generation, SOP development, and PACS modernization documentation
  • Develop, review, and revise CBP Security policies and procedures related to physical security, recommending best practices and security strategies
  • Conduct Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card issuance, enrollment, issuance, and activation for over 60,000 employees and contractors
  • Serve as a National Capital Region (NCR) building security liaison, coordinating with Federal Protective Service, Commercial Building Management, and Security Guard Services at CBP facilities
  • Schedule appointments for visitors, employees, and contractors to the PIV Card Issuing Facility (PCIF)
  • Generate reports of data housed in CBP systems and other commercial data management systems
