Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from an ABET-accredited institution, a PE license, and over 10 years of design experience. They should also have at least 5 years of experience leading a team specializing in the related field, along with active memberships in discipline-specific professional organizations such as ASCE and proficiency in Microsoft Suites, MicroStation, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

As the Section Manager, the individual will provide technical expertise to staff, clients, and peers, assist in growing business volume with existing clients, perform technical skills gap analysis and recommend training, assist project managers in developing scopes and schedules, monitor group performance and adherence to quality criteria, identify and resolve problems proactively, cultivate professional relationships, support proposal opportunities, and participate in the RFP/RFQ process including site visits and client meetings.
