Candidates must possess an active US Government Secret Security Clearance and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Microsoft Certification (e.g., MCSD, MCSE) is required, along with a preferred Microsoft SharePoint Developer Certification. The role requires a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in SharePoint development, proficiency in .NET, C#, SQL, and a strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, configuration, and administration. Experience with SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, and excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are also essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The SharePoint Developer will design, develop, and maintain SharePoint solutions to meet business requirements. They will customize SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, forms, and web parts while collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Troubleshooting and resolving SharePoint issues in a timely manner is crucial, along with providing technical expertise and support to end-users as needed. Additionally, the developer will keep up-to-date with the latest SharePoint technologies and best practices.
