The ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
Physical ability for continuous movement 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, reaching, grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, pulling
Ability to handle bulky and awkwardly shaped items, including reaching/lifting above head
Regularly lift items up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
For Stock and Fulfillment: Frequently lift/carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

Work with team to keep salesfloor "runway ready" through re-merchandising and straightening
Assist customers with cashiering, including POS transactions, bagging items of all sizes, handling bulky/heavy items, across in-store/online/mobile platforms
Support fitting rooms by greeting/assisting customers and sorting/returning clothing to salesfloor
Create clean, clutter-free experience by sorting/returning clothing to salesfloor
Keep stockrooms organized, check in merchandise accurately, ensure proper ticketing
Demonstrate expertise in all store technologies
Adhere to operational, merchandise, and asset protection standards
Promote initiatives like Nordstrom Rewards program
Receive, unload freight, unpack, and deliver merchandise to selling departments
Fulfill customer orders timely following quality standards
Prepare and ship customer orders following quality, packing, and shipping standards
Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research shipments per inventory control processes
Maintain clean/organized selling floors and stockrooms
Provide general store support (e.g., special events, backroom organization, markdowns, fixture relocation)
