Requirements

  • Adherence to wage/hour laws, time recording policies, and all company SOPs

Responsibilities

  • Represent Sur La Table’s brand by creating memorable, educational experiences to inspire repeat visits and loyalty
  • Stay current on products through training and additional resources
  • Lead a customer-focused culture in kitchen and retail areas for exceptional experiences
  • Assist chefs with class execution to drive repeat visits and positive feedback
  • Contribute to class revenue goals through high enrollment, reviews, and guest returns
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales goals (measured by sales volume, transaction value, conversion rates)
  • Set up and break down classes, including mise en place, ingredient prep, and workstation cleaning
  • Clean and sanitize dishes and equipment promptly
  • Restock, organize, and maintain kitchen supplies and tools
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health codes, sanitation, and alcohol regulations
  • Handle tools, ingredients, and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate inventory, minimize shrink, and control expenses
  • Ensure store safety, cleanliness, and address maintenance needs
  • Accurately record time worked per policy
  • Model adherence to all company policies and SOPs
