Candidates should possess 3-5 years of K-12 science classroom teaching experience, strong empathy for educators, 2+ years of instructional design experience, keen attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. A passion for improving education equitably and creative problem-solving skills are also required.
The Science Content Writer will manually author/edit interactive question types using the Kiddom platform, author/edit supplemental resources aligned to existing curriculum, review content and provide quality assurance feedback, analyze and create content to align to state and national science standards, including NGSS, ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications, provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders, troubleshoot and problem solve when situations do not align with usual processes, and continuously monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
