Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook, and familiar with warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Proven ability to work safely with above average accuracy
  • General knowledge of product catalog numbers and handling characteristics
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • WMS Reporting and Display experience
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime as necessary according to business needs (one mandatory Saturday at end of month)
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds independently
  • Compliance with 100% smoke and tobacco free facility policy (includes cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vaping, and smokeless tobacco)

Responsibilities

  • Consolidate and assign pickup dates to LTL loads
  • Utilize WMS to find and schedule all unscheduled loads, hourly as needed
  • Reach out to carriers with complete preloads and arrange pickup and answer all carrier queries
  • Collaborate with Operations to move loads in conjunction with pick pace
  • Compile daily and hourly reports
  • Ensure loads are completed in a timely manner (schedule loads) and inspected
  • Close and confirm shipments; send BOL and Air Waybill to exports team
  • Send every BOL and SOLAS (for Sea shipment) to the team once shipment shipped out from DC
  • Inspect the truck and trailer in the yard when carrier arrives for pickup for full truck load
  • Utilize wave planning (ACE, Grainger, and Amazon) for support as secondary planner
  • Perform end of shift physical yard audits
  • Other duties as assigned
