Requirements

Candidates must have 10+ years of SAP IS-U experience in consulting or in-house roles, with deep expertise in Marktkommunikation, Billing, Smart Metering/Device Management, or Energy data management. A strong affinity for IT and experience with ABAP, debugging, and functional design are required, along with proven ability to lead teams and manage complex SAP projects. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities are essential, as is a Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. Fluency in German (C2) and English (C2) is mandatory, and willingness to travel for project-related work is necessary.

Responsibilities

The SAP Utilities Functional Consultant will support greenfield SAP Cloud for Utilities implementations, focusing on the Meter-to-Cash process. This involves designing and implementing scalable, compliant, and future-ready solutions, analyzing business processes, and designing optimized SAP solutions tailored to DSO operations. Responsibilities include leading the integration and implementation of SAP modules across energy industry systems, managing project teams through concept realization, rollout, and quality assurance, taking ownership of project management tasks, and contributing to IT strategy development. The role also involves collaborating with technical teams, contributing to solution architecture, and mentoring junior consultants.
