Requirements

Candidates must possess 10+ years of SAP IS-U experience in consulting or in-house roles, with deep expertise in at least one of Marktkommunikation, Billing, Smart Metering/Device Management, or Energy data management. A strong affinity for IT, experience with ABAP, debugging, and functional design are required, along with proven ability to lead teams and manage complex SAP projects. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities are essential. A Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field is necessary. Preferred qualifications include experience with SAP S/4HANA Utilities implementation and migration, knowledge of SAP Cloud for Utilities, familiarity with German energy market regulations, and SAP Certification in IS-U or S/4HANA Utilities.

Responsibilities

The SAP Utilities Functional Consultant will support greenfield SAP Cloud for Utilities implementations, focusing on the Meter-to-Cash process. Responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable, compliant, and future-ready solutions for clients, analyzing business processes, and designing optimized SAP solutions tailored to DSO operations. The role involves leading integration and implementation of SAP modules, managing project teams through realization, rollout, and quality assurance, and taking ownership of project management tasks. Additionally, the consultant will contribute to IT strategy development, collaborate with technical teams, contribute to solution architecture, mentor junior consultants, and support hiring initiatives.
